The beach
Polyrizos is one of the easiest beaches on this stretch of coast: fine sand, shallow, calm water, and some shade from the olive groves. It is lightly organised with a few sunbeds and showers, and it suits children well.
Korakas, Rodakino's main beach, is just 500 m east.
Getting there
From Rodakino village go down to Korakas and follow the paved shore road west; it ends at Polyrizos. The rocky hill of Kastelos rises to the west, with Peristeres bay on its far side (turn left onto the dirt road about 500 m after Polyrizos).
Nearby
Peristeres is 0.9 km away, Agia Marina 1.4 km. Inland, the Sykia and Rodakino gorges make good short walks outside the hottest months.
