The main beach
The sand is thick and white, but the seabed is rocky, and a large rock in the middle of the beach is green and slippery: wear water shoes. Tamarisks give some shade, and there are tavernas, rooms and a diving centre.
The coves
Klisidi, about 200 m west, is a small sandy cove at the end of a dirt road. Ammoudaki, next to Damnoni, is used by naturists and has a canteen and a sea cave on its western side.
Nearby
Schinaria, a popular dive site, is about 500 m away, Damnoni 600 m, and the Preveli monastery about 3.7 km.
