The beach and village

Ancient Lebena
Lebena was a healing sanctuary dedicated to Asklepios, used from the 4th century BC into Roman times. On the hill above the village you can see the temple foundations and remains of mosaic floors.

Getting there
The road from the Messara plain via Miamou winds over the Asterousia mountains. Drive carefully and allow time.
