The cove
Psaromoura (fish plus cape) is popular with locals more than tourists. The water is blue-green and deep close to shore. Umbrellas, sunbeds, showers and a canteen serving drinks and cocktails were added in recent years; environmental groups have asked for the umbrellas to be removed.
There are no hotels or restaurants directly on the beach, but plenty within walking distance in Agia Pelagia.
Getting there
Drive into Agia Pelagia, pass the Capsis Out of the Blue hotel, continue west about 100 m and turn right onto a small road. A few steps along is a gate marked 'To the beach'; park nearby and walk west past it.
Nearby
Kladissos beach is 300 m away and Mononaftis 400 m, both good snorkelling spots. Lygaria bay is a short drive east.
